Membrane Technology: MGC cells
In addition to the technologies licensed by its joint venture ThyssenKrupp Uhde Chlorine Engineers (Japan) Ltd, De Nora owns also the MGC/ExLTM cell technology (from ELTECH, Oxy TECH, De Nora TECH), a small (1,5 m2/cell) membrane cell assembled in monopolar or bipolar configuration.
Upon request, De Nora can manufacture brand new MGC/ExLTM anodes and cathodes, with specifications that are the same as the original, to be used as spare parts for maintenance or elements for the expansion of existing chlor alkali production capacities already adopting this technology.
