Water is our most precious resource. We need it to be available always, everywhere, and anytime. Yet around the world, many areas experience water scarcity; furthermore, ensuring proper water quality is a difficult and tremendous challenge. This is not just about everyday drinking water- think about the wastewater we release into the grid, or that we use for irrigation and industrial processes. We need to control those water “fingerprints” too!
De Nora is committed to integrating digital innovation within the water treatment industry for a cleaner, safer, smarter tomorrow. This commitment led to the creation of the Internet of Water (IOW) De Nora Idea Challenge. For the past few months 14 teams, comprised of members around the world, came together and presented ideas within the following categories:
• Water Quality & Availability
• Business Model Innovation
• Digitally Enhanced Water Treatment
