MILANO - March 24, 2015 – De Nora featured its newest mixed metal oxide anodes, the De Nora Lida® flex system, as well as its range of products for cathodic protection during the Corrosion 2015 Convention and exhibition. The exposition has being held at the Kay Bailey Hutchinson Convention Center, Dallas, from March 15-19, 2015.
NACE Corrosion is the world’s largest corrosion conference and expo. With more than 1,000 hours of technical education across 14 unique industries & technology tracks and 450 exhibiting companies, the Corrosion conference and exhibition has been the key to finding specific corrosion solutions on the prevention and mitigation of corrosion worldwide for over 7,000 corrosion professionals.
Corrosion attendees stopped by booth 15039 to learn about the broad range of De Nora Lida® anodes which the company offers in a variety of shapes and coating options – including ribbon mesh, tubes, wires, solid ribbon and Stargard anodes- to match each customer’s specific requirements.
The newest product offering in De Nora’s line of CP anode products is the ideal anode option when the space is limited and the anode is to be installed in near proximity to the pipe or tanks. The De Nora Lida®flex system employs our field-proven anode wire, a precious metal oxide catalyst on a titanium substrate, connected with proprietary LIDA® connection to the header cable at preset intervals, all surrounded with coke backfill and packed in a flexible sock protected by a resistant plastic mesh. It is easy to be installed and allows optimal current distribution.
Samples of new De Nora Lida® flex system were on display and the feedback we received was extremely positive. “The flexible anode system is our latest improvement in design and efficiency. Our full line of LIDA® impressed current anode provides the flexibility our customers need to address ever-changing design requirements while also delivering the reliability upon which our customers have come to depend.” said Simone Tremolada, De Nora Cathodic Protection Product Manager De Nora has offered mixed metal oxide stable anodes to the construction, oil & gas industry for corrosion prevention for more than 25 years.
