Cathodic Protection

De Nora offers several different Mixed Metal Oxide (MMO) coatings
and anode geometries for concrete protection and for conventional protection.

Pipelines, storage tanks, and steel reinforced concrete structures corrode.
A properly designed and maintained impressed current cathodic protection system, using De Nora's ELGARD® or LIDA® anodes, has proven to be a time-tested solution for extending the longevity of any steel structure.

De Nora offers several different Mixed Metal Oxide (MMO) coatings and anode geometries for your specific application.  Our ELGARD® anodes are used for concrete protection and our LIDA® anodes are used for conventional protection. The LIDA® and ELGARD® CP anodes are available through an exclusive network of distributors.

Elgard concrete protection

Elgard Concrete Protection

ELGARD® impressed current anodes protect steel re-enforced concrete structures, such as parking garages, bridge decks, wharf and pier structures. ELGARD® anodes are available in expanded mesh geometries. These anodes have been tested by independent labs to verify and ensure that they exceed the performance criteria per NACE TM0294-2016.

LIDA® Tubolar Anodes

LIDA® Conventional Protection

LIDA® anodes are used to protect industrial steel structures, such as pipelines, underground storage tanks, above ground storage tanks, locks, dams, offshore platforms, and water boxes.

Our anodes meet or exceed NACE standard TM0108-2012 and are designed to protect over 20 years.  LIDA® anodes use Grade 1 or Grade 2 titanium substrate coated with our proprietary Mixed Metal Oxide (MMO) coatings.  We offer a variety of geometries such as rod, wire, tube, ribbon, disks, or mesh for your unique application.
